ELLIE HARRIS - Hello Hi
Heavy Jazz Records (DF007)

Released end of October '26 pre-orders being taken now

As part of Heavy Jazz, a sister label to Heavy Soul, I had been concentrating solely on getting 60s bangers out since the label's inception a couple of years ago (Jimmy Smith, Chico Hamilton, Wynder K Frog, Brian Auger etc) but the next couple of releases will see attention turn to new and established acts with the first release by West London singer / songwriter Ellie Harris.
Ellie had been promoting her sounds for a while and immediatley took my ear, especially the beautiful "Hello Hi" with it's lyrics, musicianship and links to great dancefloor jazz sounds - the debut 7" by Ellie which will be out around the end of October, hopefully sooner.
