So happy to get this exculsive new 7" single from Ed on the label and what a release....
Edgar was of course frontman for the magikal Liverpool band THE STAIRS as well as The Big Kids, The Joneses, The Isrites etc and his solo work has never failed to impress....
 
As strong on record as he is live (he has just finished a string of dates supporting Little Barrie) "Turning Point U.S.A." is a strong condemnation of The States, a stated statement which states the status, stating through words and music the state of the place, dragged down through the past few years of Trumpton....
Backed with "Classical Ska" - an appreciation of the music craze that spread through the clubs of the early '60s, muchly appreciated by Mods initially then Suedeheads, Rudies, Skins and anyone with good taste since - this is one helluva great release...
